Out growing the facilities at 3400 Montrose and with more attorneys and staff the decision is made to move to 2990 Richmond.

The firm decides that it is time to aquire it's own building and they move to 3315 Mercer. During this time some attorneys move on to other firms and a new attorney joins the firm. Robert Steed. With this comes a change in name to Frye, Steed, Oaks and Benavidez.
